Sorry, again, for not doing as i planned, and to be perfectly honest with you, i have no excuse, so you will just have to forgive me. :) 


My post for today is a song, as i haven't done one like this in a while. the song is entitled 'Loser Like Me' and sung by The Glee Cast.


The main reason for this having an inspirational effect is the whole 'I'm a LOSER, I don't care' sort of thing. This attitude is good for having a high self-esteem, which is mostly the whole theme when it come to Glee. 
Basically, my advice to you for this week is to ignore what anyone thinks of you, be your own person, and be proud of being exactly that, and not what everyone else wants to be.


And just think, those people who mock you for being different to them, will be the ones that when you grow older, you see on street corners begging, working as binmen and on Jeremy Kyle :).

Sorry&&Love Has No Gender.

Hey y'all.
Sorry I didn't post anything yesterday, I was mega-super-insanely busy with all the New Year lark. So, to make up for it, I am going to write about a matter that is quite close to my heart for many reasons, and something that I will be able to go into major detail about. 
The quote of which I am talking is actually one of mine. I'm sure you have heard other people saying it, and I'm not trying to gain possession over it, but it is one that I use and believe in.

Love isn't a person, it is a feeling, so how can a feeling have a gender. Angriness is not a 'male' feeling for example, anyone can feel it, and feel it's effects, and love should be the same. 
Now this really hits me hard, because it is so true. People in the LGBT community most definitely do not get enough rights. Especially when it comes to loving each other. Love is like a game of spin the bottle, whoever it lands on, that's who it has to be, you can't just change that, and people can't change that for you. If you decide you love someone of any gender it should be allowed. Marriage is about love right? That's what the Church teaches is it not? That you should love each other with all your heart etc. etc. blah blah. So what the Church are saying is that gays or lesbians do not love each other if they want to get married? Who are they to announce that someone loves someone or not? If the Church stated that one straight man did not love his wife, there would be a total overthrow of the church and it would probably make the newspapers.
Yet the Church are allowed to do this to people of a different sexual orientation. Which is another complete balls-up of the Church's teachings. They teach we are all equal, and then go and do this.
What I'm trying to say overall is, you can't help who you fall in love with, be it man, woman or both, love is a feeling, not a gender.

Money Cannot Buy Happiness&&Happy New Year

Seeing as today is the last day of 2010, I thought I would end the year with a light-hearted story to make you feel better about yourself, and I have come across the perfect story.


A Canadian couple, Allan and Violet Large, who won $10.9m (£6.7m) in the National  Lottery in July of this year, have given away nearly 98% of their winnings to the people in their lives who do not get much recognition for what they do. Some of these places included Fire Departments and even the hospital at which Violet received cancer treatment. But the most inspirational thing about this story is that the Large couple were not rich themselves, but instead stated they were 'happy with what we got' and adding 'you can't buy happiness'.


This is a very poignant statement, as it is thrown around a lot, as many people have different beliefs about it. My belief is that you cannot buy happiness. You may have the best sports car, and a 52" 3DTV and a 20 storey mansion under your wing, but you could still be miserable. The things in life that mean something are non-material, and it is only these things that can make us truly happy.
Sure, having all the newest rad things would be cool, and you would be very lucky to have them, but take away these things and you are just like any other person, with the need to be loved and wanted, and the need for happiness.


Considering that the vast majority of people believe they don't have enough money, if you feel you have enough, you can consider yourself one of the richest people in the world, no matter how much is in your bank account. Think about this, and ask yourself how much is enough?


Also, Happy New Year to all you guys, hope 2011 is an inspiring year and that you enjoy yourself.
